What is the relationship between the solver methods of Simulink (Runge-Kutta, Dormand-Prince, ode23t, etc.) and actual hardware?

Hi Shivani,
Consider I am simulating a buck converter in Simulink, and I have selected the ode23t solver. After verifying the simulation result, I need to build the hardware for the same buck converter. So where does this solver that we are selecting in simulation come into play while doing the hardware model? Please let me know if you need further clarification.

Hi Rahul,
I understand that you are using ode23t solver for simulating Buck Convertor model in Simulink.
In general, ode solvers are hardware independent. They are well-documented algorithms that operate completely on the software side. You can select the solver according to the best preferred mix of speed and accuracy for your Buck Convertor model.
