I am attempting to do something similar to the guide here:
I am unable to connect a scope to my voltage sensor however:
Instead, depending on where I pull my line from, I get a red dotted line that looks one way or the other.
How can I resolve this?
I am trying to simulate a cycloconverter, but before I get to that, I need to step down the voltage and convert it to DC to power the control circuit. I would like to varify circuit functionality as I go, before I get too far along.

Hey Joseph,
I understand you are trying to connect the “Simscape Voltage Sensor” to the “Simulink Scope”.
You will require the "PS-Simulink Converter" Block between the Voltage Sensor and the Scope. You can find this block in the in Simscape-->Utilities in the library browser. You can connect the block in the following manner
For more information on the "PS-Simulink Converter", you can visit the documentation page.
