I didn't find any way to simulate compression in the RF BUDGET ANALYZER
When I'm using a simple amplifier I can configure the IP3, IP2 and Gain, but it behaves like a theoretical amplifier, It doesn't matter what is the input to it, the output is always Pin + Gain.

Hi Alon, May i know which version of MATLAB you are using and do you have RF blockset? so that I can provide you a better solution. R2022b has power characteristics plot in RF Blockset which might be helpful to you.

Hi,
I'm using R2022A version.
I'm only using the RF toolbox, and not the blockset unfortunately.
Thanks

Hi Alon,
You can plot the power characteristics of an amplifier to understand the P1dB and Psat points of an amplifier, but it is possible in R2022b version of MATLAB.
Kindly upgrade to R2022b version and install RF Blockset.
For more information ,go through RF Blockset.

In 2023a you can add amplifier nonlinearity to the RF budget analysis and plot the characteristics, but for some reason when you do power plots or gain plots this nonlinearity does not apply. Is this the intended effect?
