why Tsun=5780 and numE=1000?

Tsun is the approximate temperature of the Sun, which is said to have a surface temperature of 5772 K
I would need more context to guess what numE is here.

numE is the number of different E values to plot over. You can change it to any integer that gives you enough points for a plot that is smooth enough for your purposes.
For your case I suspect you should be changing to
E = linspace(0.1, 4, numE);
If you want to plot for multiple Tsun then use a for loop, such as
for Tsun = [5000 5500 5780 6000 7000 10000]
end
