Add-on Explorer lates too much

When I try to open Add-On Explorer to install a library that I need, I have to wait a lot (from 30 minutes in advance). I want to know if the problem is the Add-On Explorer, if I can do something to improve this behavior and if there is any other way to install libraries. With this delay for every library is imposible work with Matlab.

I have 16 GB of RAM and more than 25 GB of free space.

I had already tested your points 1 to 3. But the Add-On Explorer had the same slow behavior. Then, I was found that using the next command the speed increased.

opengl software

It doesn't work as fast as you might expect, but at least the command improves the behavior.

If you know any other option to improve the behavior of my Add-On Explorer, please, let me know.
