What does "2)**** Error **" exactly mean? Which error message do you get? Did you install a compiler already? Which one? Does it apopear in the list during "mex -setup"?

I have the same error, and it looks like the same thing again here: <http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/5153-compiler-error > I pulled up one of my old simulink projects with an embedded m-file, and got exactly this. (Yes, Jan, the second error is not very helpful, but that's what it says.)
I struggled for a while getting mex set up on 64-bit windows R2010a, but now I can run the yprime example quoted here <http://www.mathworks.de/support/solutions/en/data/1-6IJJ3L/index.html?solution=1-6IJJ3L > anybody have any new ideas?
