Backend logs visible in MATLAB 2023b

I had been using MATLAB 2022b for my development. On switching to MATLAB 2023b, i have observed that I receive the logs (the location at which my function is called) associated with the warnings as shown. Previously, I was only receiving a single warning statement which was fine. Due to the logs, it now becomes difficult for me to view what values i am receiving in my command window in 2023b. How do I suppress the logs?

If you don't want to see this warning, you could turn the warning off (retrieve the ID with lastwarn) and restore the state after your function terminates.

A different method would be to make sure your log is not printed to the command window, but to a file.

Have you considered either solution?

Or is this the log you want to suppress? Or else do you want to suppress both these set of logs?

... or is it the polynomial is not unique ? (You really should have coded to prevent that situation.)

The warning is associated with the polyfit function. This warning is raised when there are not enough data points for the degree polynomial you are trying to fit. The backend log may or may not be associated with this warning as it is generated by app designer. Yes, I think the right direction to go would be to first fix the warning and see if the logs also disappear. If not, then some alternative to suppress the logs should be looked at.

I want to suppress the latter i.e

As I mentioned originally, these logs were not visible in MATLAB 2022b but are now visible in MATLAB 2023b.

Did you fix the polyfit problem?

Polyfit has been added deliberately since we want to see whether there are not enough data points. But the associated logs coming from the app designer are not desired and this is the problem that is visible in MATLAB 2023b and not in earlier matlab releases.

Fix the problem with polyfit first. That is, when you find a situation where the degree is too high, you should either skip the calculations that rely on the fit, or else use an alternate logic.

Assume that the problem is that the dlarray processing is unhappy being asked to calculate mathematically meaningless tasks
