Conversion from ellipsoidal to geocentric cartesian

How can I convert from geodetic (ellipsoidal) to geocentric cartesian by using iteration?

I don't think that you need iteration. The 5 steps for conversion are given in the section "Algorithm" under

I know these formulas. I directly converted coordinate systems using that, but my instructor wants me to use iteration while converting coordinates.

Then you should ask your instructor what he means by this.

If you want to convert from geocentric to geodetic, you need iteration, but not from geodetic to geocentric.
