I am not able to load in my files when using the lidar labeler app

9 visualizaciones (últimos 30 días)
I have .las/laz, .ply files downloaded that I have successfully imported and worked with in the lidar viewer app however, I am not able to import them in the lidar labeler app. They do not show up when it is time to load the files in.
What could be the issue?
Thank you.

Could you explain the workflow you are using to import the files in the app?

Sure.
I go to the "Import" tab, select the option "file" to import from, then I select "point cloud sequence" for .ply files or "LAS/Laz" for the same type of files. But when it is time to now select from the files, they do no show up yet they did when I was working with the lidar viewer app.

Hello Dawiya,
After seeing the steps you have performed, it seems there might have been some confusion between selecting a folder and selecting an individual file.
In the Lidar Labeller App, the import functionality for PLY/LAS/LAZ files is designed to open only folders. This is because it expects a sequence of point cloud data in PLY/LAS/LAZ files. Unlike the Lidar Viewer App, which allows you to open a single file, the Lidar Labeller requires the data to be organized within a folder that contains the sequence. However, if you wish to open a single PLY/LAS/LAZ file, you can place it inside an empty folder and then open that folder from import panel of the Lidar Labeller App. This approach will allow you to open a single file in Lidar Labeller app.
Please refer to the following MathWorks documentation for importing in Lidar Labeller App
Hope it helps!
