On Linux, MATLAB is typically installed in the /usr/local/MATLAB directory. The exact path will include the version number, such as /usr/local/MATLAB/R2023b.
If you chose a custom installation directory during setup, you can locate it by searching your system for "matlab." To start MATLAB, you can usually type matlab at the terminal prompt. If symbolic links were not set up during installation, you might need to use the full path, like /usr/local/MATLAB/R2023b/bin/matlab.
