sine pwm control for statcom
Mostrar comentarios más antiguos
Hello,
can anyone tell me how to do a sine pwm for statcom control.
there should be 3 120 deg shifted sine waves(maybe the voltages of the network) and then somehow to compare them with a triangolar waveform and from this with boolean logic generate 1 and 0 train signal that is controlling the igbt switching. The referencies of Q etc are done with abc-->alfa,beta-->d,q,0 frame passage.
thanks

You will have three sinusoidal reference signals that you need to compare with a high frequency triangular signal carrier. The intersection of the reference sinusoidal wave and the high-frequency carrier wave determines the switching states of the inverter. When the sinusoidal reference is greater than the triangular carrier, the output is high (switch on), and when it is lower, the output is low (switch off).
