Looking for a Simulink model of a Series HEV that I can use as the basis for implementing and testing my optimization algorithm.

Currently, I am working on my final project which focuses on the optimization of energy storage sizing in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV) using Genetic Algorithms. As part of this research, I am looking for a Simulink model of a Series HEV that I can use as the basis for implementing and testing my optimization algorithm.

I recently read an article titled "Evaluating Plug-in Series Hybrid Designs for Postal Delivery Vehicles" and found the Simulink model described there very relevant and insightful. I am reaching out to kindly ask if anyone is familiar with this model or has access to a similar Simulink model for a Series HEV that could be shared for academic and non-commercial purposes.

Any references, shared models, or guidance would be deeply appreciated.

There is an example model in Simscape, which was introduced by MathWorks and is compatible with MATLAB R2023b and later versions. The example shows how to model a power-split hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) with a simple rule-based controller for speed tracking simulation. The power-split HEV is a series-parallel hybrid system. Additionally, there is a model in file-exchange that models a parallel-series hybrid-electric vehicle. Please refer to the below link for more details about the model:

You can refer to any of the above models and modify it as per your requirements to model a series HEV.

the model you offer is Series-Parallel, the vehicle model i want is pure series HEV, so the vehicle runs only by motor, and the motor supprted by 2 Energy storage (battery and engine ICE)
