How to use an application code with matlab on a touchscreen?

Hi, I am trying to code an interface for a scientific experiment with matlab. The experiment will consist on touching the screen, and the program will gathering data on the position (where the screen has been touch) and the moment where the screen has been touch. But how can I put my interface coded with GUIDE on such a device? Is there some particular code to use in order to do that? I have no idea...

It would really depend on the interface the touchscreen would have and what the touchscreen would be. you say you want to put your code on the the device or is the device a peripheral to a PC? I use a wacom tablet input with my PC and that touch interface acts like a mouse.
