Start-Up Crash Error (Segmentation Fault)

I have been trying to install MATLAB 2025a/b on my Framework 13 Laptop running Arch Linux and Hyprland.

I tried following the intructions from the provided documentation, but that resulted in either a Segmentation Fault and/or matlab_2025/bin/glnxa64/libexpat.so.1 was too empty.

I currently used the AUR (with yay) to install the matlab package. This installed properly, but when I try to run matlab, it simply crashes.

There have not been any versions of MATLAB that have been supported on Arch Linux.
