Unable to install deployed app from web installer

Hello Everyone,

I recently ran into an issue that my compiled app is not able to install from the web package. The Installer starts fine and goes through the "Retrieving product data" and "Preparing for installation" steps but cannot go any further because the "Next" button will not trigger any action (and I also am probably on the wrong screen as this screen is the same as previous one - the app summary and not the install folder selection). The mcr package produced during the same compilation run installs just fine.

I have tried to run the deploy tool again several times and I also tried to run the installer with admin privileges but to no luck.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

Mathworks were having problems with their web servers for the downloadable MCR yesterday (don't know if it is still the case).

Hi Thomas,

I experienced exactly the same problem today, either with installers I build some time ago and newly builded. Did you already asked MATLAB for support? Btw, as a workaround for now, it seems to work if you include the runtime instead of the using the web installer.

Same problem here. I'm guessing there is an issue with the Mathworks servers that retrieve the necessary matlab components at install time.
