I have 80 images ,i want to calculate mean of first 10 images and store it,and ten the next 10 ,till 80 images please help

Build an image volume or cell using:

And then use a for-loop to traverse either the third dimension or the cell array vector taking the mean of each block. What do you mean by mean? Do you want the mean of the whole block of 10 images (scalar) mean at each pixel of the 10 images (2d image)?

"meann of 10 images " is not an unambiguous answer to Sean - is that a scalar or a 2D image? It makes a difference. Is the mean of the 10 images a "mean image" or is it the mean of the 10 means you already calculated?
