Having a slice(medical image), how can i find out the radii and area of sphere using region props

I have a slice and it contains center points of 4 spheres...The spheres are of different radii.. how can i find the radii and area of each sphere?

Depends on the format. Maybe you can use dicomread(). But somehow you need to get a reader for your data files. I don't have one.

Just ask regionprops to get the area and 'EquivDiameter'
measurements = regionprops(CC, 'Area', 'EquivDiameter');

  1. My demo shows you how to select certain blobs based on some criteria like area. Did you see that code?
  2. I'm not sure what you're asking. What is "4 values of connected components". I show you how to get the connected components, labeled image and display it in both grayscale and with different colors for each individual blob. What do you want and why isn't my code doing it?
