can anyone guide me to how to use an algorithm for feature matching in a video?

Surf can't even match images properly. How it is supposed to match videos? You first need to extract features of videos by some algorithm which we normally get from research papers and then methods like SVM, ANN, etc. can be used to match extracted features.
