mcr instance not available

Hello,
I have been using MCR for an application on Windows from version XP to 8.1. But for the same installation of my application and the MCR library under Windows 10, I get "MCR instance not available" error. What is wrong? How can I fix it?

Do you see any folders under this folder: "C:\Program Files\MATLAB\MATLAB Runtime"? Or does that folder even exist?

Hello, The MCR module is installed in "C:\Program Files (x86)\MATLAB\MATLAB Component Runtime\v76\runtime\win32" directory. The dll file the app needs is registered properly. This setup owrks on Windows version from XP to 8.1. The problem came up under Win 10. So it must be something to do this OS.

Call the developer who compiled it. If that's you, then call the Mathworks. Make sure the MCR you installed is the same one that it was compiled with.

I compiled, created the package and used it to install the dll and the MCR library on many computers with different Windows versions. All works fine. For some reason it is not working on Win 10.

I'll try to check later tonight if I can compile an app on my Windows 10 system.

Hi,
Are you using COM objects in your application?
This error may occur if there is a significant clock difference in the development machine and the deployment machine.
Have you verified if the MCR is available in the Windows path environment?
