Is there a way to calculate residuals for anova2?

I was wondering whether it is possible to calculate the residuals for the output of the anova2 function. Or to calculate the fitted values, because residuals = y - yhat.
I found the function plotResiduals(mdl), but it requires the output from a regression model.
