Camera Calibration for measuring planar object

Hi, I would like to measure object with camera calibration procedure. And I found great solution from matlab "Measuring Planar Objects with a Calibrated Camera",it was measuring coin size. But, in the solution, the coin that I want measure being in one image with checkerboard. I would like to measure object in separated images after compute extrinsic has done. I'm not use GUI, so I will change the code coin from Matlab. which part of code that I must change ? could anyone help me, please. Thanks This is link of Matlab example http://www.mathworks.com/help/vision/examples/measuring-planar-objects-with-a-calibrated-camera.html

Not sure what you are asking... You would need to write your own code to detect the object of interest. If it has a distinctive color, you can use color segmentation. If it is a very specific object, rather than a generic object category, you may be able to use feature matching.
