To process a fingerprint (Rolled, card-ink based) which was taken through webcam contains complex background. I believe that imbinarize() will do better, but i'm running with matlab r2015a where this function is not included. So my requirement is to add that function in r2105a and amke use of it without buying new version and its licence.

Once hired you would work to convince your boss to allow you to back-port imbinarize to R2015a.
While you are working on your resume and going through the hiring process, you might want to consider seeing if graythresh has functionality close enough to be of benefit to you.
