want to install matlab in ubuntu.

, how can i install that one and is student version free? how can i have that one. I am new for matlab and still a student.so i am not able to purchase this one. please help me. i need it very much.

You can get the student version for free.Just go to this link http://in.mathworks.com/downloads/ after making a student version id on mathworks.com and log in on the above link then download the installer file and extract it and run it using

sudo ./install

in terminal and download MATLAB,just use it on WiFi as it's about 7GB download.

No, there has never been a free Mathworks version, not even for Students. The downloads link you point to only works once your account has been associated with a license file, which requires a purchase (or winning a contest, or being employed by Mathworks, or being provided with a license key by an employer or academic institution)
