how can we set membership function for each gray level as μ(x, y) =e^-((L-f(x,y)/s)/2)^2 where Where L, F(x, y), S denote max gray level, any gray level, variance between gray values respectively.

You can use the command "fuzzy" in Matlab command and fix the different parameters (memberships of inputs and output..). In this case you can choose
