Is it possible to set the FaceColor on my waitbar GUI using 2015a?

This solution does not work:
xx = waitbar(0,"Waiting ...");
xxObj = findobj(xx,'Type','Patch');
set(xxObj,'FaceColor','blue');

No, that is not possible.
As I posted in http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/293374-waitbar-color-2016a-is-broken-red-how-to-set-to-older-continuous-green#answer_227433 waitbar now delegates to a Java javax.swing.JProgressBar . Those do not have a Facecolor.
