Matlab installation can't start from my computer

Good morning Community,

for the last couple days I am having a hard time installing Matlab in my computer. More specifically, being a student I have downloader the R2015b version and when I unzip the file, I run the setup.exe . However, it doesn't run. Nothing happens after this and I don't know what to do. I updated my Windows 8 to Windows 10 2 months ago, but still I can't locate what the problem can be. Could it be maybe of any Windows updated being unproperly installed?

This does not sound like a Windows problem. Did you unzip the downloaded file completely or do you start setup.exe from inside the Zip-program?

i am working on 2020b, there is same situation, i use iso file to install, and click setup.exe, nothing happens, dont know what to do, but the file seems to be right, cuz i use the same file to install on another pc, it works, maybe something wrong with my laptop...

I moved the .exe file downloaded to program files (x86) giving admin permission. and it worked when I clicked it.

Hi

Try extracting the files from the zip folder and installig it again if that does not help. Try reffering to the following link:

Elsewise move the .exe file downloaded to program files (x86) giving admin permission and check if it worked.
