I used the GSSpcWrite to create an SPC file by using data read from a TXT file. The SPC file was created successfully and I was capable of reading and plotting it from Matlab. However, I can’t open that file in any other software like Ominc for example. The x axis is not evenly spaced. When I produced a file with an evenly spaced x axis I could open it in Omnic. Any suggestions to make the unevenly spaced x axis SPCs produced by GSSpcWrite open in Ominc (or other spectral software). Regards

KSSV thank you for your reply. Is there a certain function to make the x axis even? In my example, I simply replaced the x axis data with randomly generated data that was evenly spaced, but of course I lost my original x axis data. Any suggestions to make my x axis values even? Thank you
