Is it possible to model river flow process in matlab?

I want to perform hydrodynamic analysis of flow in a meandering channel. My objective is to analyse the bank erosion, bed morphological changes. For that I need to incorporate sediment in my model. In this regard, is matlab capable of performing such analysis?
