I need to convert Physical Signal from Light-Emitting Diode to a unitless Simulink signal, then make some math operations and again convert unitless Simulink signal to a Physical Signal. What's wrong with it?

This can be done as shown, there will be an algebraic loop that we can break in the simulink part. However, the negative terminals of the batteries need to be connected to an electrical reference as well to be able to run this model.
