MatLab download stalling and not resuming

I've a limited period licence for MatLab through my course (ML @ Stanford via Coursera), but I'm unable to download the software using the MathWorks downloader - it gets 6, 9 18% of the way through the first program (600MB) and then stalls.

This is using the internet at my work - 1Gbps.

Are there any alternatives?

I'm downloading to a Macbook Air with El Capitain, so it goes to sleep after 10 mins of no activity. A further problem is that the downloader does not resume when woken. I got to the 18% by sitting in front of it an pressing a button every 5 minutes. Tedious. It then stalled and progressed no further, even after an hour of keeping the mac awake.

I have the same Problem on my Win10-PC. Matlab R2018b gets to 29% and then stalls. And the download is very slowly.

Also I have the same problem on my Mac. Will Matlab "support service" respond?

Same problems beginning from Matlab2016a on a variety of Linux distros(was distro-hoping) and Windows 10 x64. With Matlab 2018b things got even worse. On Linux at least it is possible to finish the installation from the point where it got stuck after cancelling the stalled installation. Even though it is irritating to type all the account details, paths, pick products to install 10 times per installation, at least, it's possible to install Matlab. But this is not the case for Windows - each time all the files are downloaded again and again. Just drives me crazy. I really want to hear a response from MathWorks.

Same problem. Win10.Matlab 2018 + toolkits (even more stuff thus with decreasing probability to get the thing done). Please do something. Thx.
