I'm trying to save a .m file into a Lego EV3. I'm trying to avoid Simulink. Is this possible to do without Simulink?

It is not possible to save an MATLAB (.m) file onto a Lego EV3. The only way to deploy an algorithm for standalone operation is to use the LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 Support from Simulink.
