Read a coded database in Matlab

It needs to read in Matlab to save the data as .math file(s) the EMODB database which has coded files: http://emodb.bilderbar.info/index-1024.html.
How's it possible to write a nice code to read and save that data?
Coding format:
Positions 1-2: number of speaker
Positions 3-5: code for text
Position 6: emotion
Position 7: if there are more than two versions these are numbered a, b, c ....
For example: 03a01Fa.wav is the audio file from Speaker 03 speaking text a01 with the emotion "Freude" (Happiness).

Which file are you looking at? I looked the complete database and there is no file with contenxt in that format.
Also, when I click on the EMO-DB tab that is supposed to show me the database, it brings up a page that only has the tab headers and nothing else. I even fired up a virtual machine and checked with Edge and Internet Explorer but the page is definitely blank other than the header.

There does not seem to be any reader for it in the MATLAB Central File Exchange. Sp. the only route to an answer I could find was here: http://emodb.bilderbar.info/index-1024.html.
