Splitting legend in north and south

Hi,
I have two plots and I want the first legend in the north and the second legend in the bottom.
I tried functions in the following link
http://in.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/29248-gridlegend-a-multi-column-format-for-legends
and "legend" command to set manually. Both of them allowing to set one legend either top or bottom but I don't know how to create two legends at two locations. Please tell me how can I do that.

I suggest using legendflex from the File Exchange.
