MONOPULSE SUM and DIFFERENCE Antenna Patterns

hello,
I did a Document search on the monopulse feature and I clicked on:
step System object: phased.SumDifferenceMonopulseTracker Package: phased where it shows the Sum and Difference antenna patterns for them. I believe you have the labels backwards. The Difference pattern is known to have the null in the center. Please see the attached screenshot.

Thanks for the feedback, the example could use better description and figure.
This being said, the pattern itself is not wrong. It shows the pattern when the array is steered toward 30 degrees. Therefore, when you look at the 30 degree, the sum pattern has a well behaved beam and the difference pattern has a null.
The left and right symmetry comes from the ULA geometry, but I can see that's what causes the confusion. Maybe it'll be better to remove that symmetry.

Hello Thanks for the prompt reply and clarification. I agree the figure shows the typical patterns associated with the Sum and Difference radiation patterns. I would recommend you elaborate more on the figure in this Help documentation. This would help people like me not to get confuse. I work on airborne radar systems and all radar systems are monopulse type, and we're used to see the boresighted Difference pattern with a null. Thank you.
