Are there length filter in image processing?

I want to remove some pixel which is shorter than a standard. I find area filter but It is not work like what I want. Are there what I want?

There is no built-in filter for that purpose.

If you do not mind an approximation, you can regionprop to get the majoraxislength, and then drop the regions whose length is too small.

If you need something more accurate, then you need to more carefully define "length" when it comes to curved or branching groups.
