how to solve ln(3) in matlab

i want to find ln(3) and the matlab write this
>> ln(3)
Undefined function or variable 'ln'.

There is NO ln function in MATLAB. This is true of most programming languages that I know in fact. My guess is that the name ln would be easily confused, depending on the font. log is easier to read and recognize.
