I wrote a program that analysis a stereo voice file when I am trying to analysis a new voice file I have found error due to Mono file.

How can I change a stereo voice file to mono ?

If the stereo voice file is Nx2, then just extract 1 column

   X = randn(2e4,2);
   Y = X(:,1);

Or take mean() of the two columns.

Or, since he already has his stereo analysis program written and done, just use repmat() to convert the new "Mono file" into a stereo file. This would make sure it doesn't break anything in his existing program that depends on the signal being stereo.
