I am trying to make vertical lines between two curves that look like the attached (plotter.png).
The line of code that I have currently is:
plot([XarrayOne(i) XarrayOne(i)],[newY1(i) newY2(i)] ,'*m');
This code produces only two stars-one on the bottom curve and one on the top curve. See attached plotter2 for clarification. This line of code is inside a for loop.
The hint that was given is to use a colon operator. However, I tried putting them in between newY1 and newY2 and it errors.
I was wondering if anyone could help me.

Found the solution. Use colon in between both X and Y.
