changing file format from N1 into netcdf

Hallo, I have an Altimetry dataset (Envisat mission),in N1 format, which is Like HDF and NetCDF a self-describing data format,developed by the European Space Agency ESA for storing and disseminating data from sensors onboard their Envisat satellite Does anyone have an Idea, iF I can change the format of the files into netcdf with Matlab?
