Hello,
can someone help me and explain whats the difference between 'Weights' and 'WeightInputs' in lineareq object? https://de.mathworks.com/help/comm/ref/lineareq.html
I want to extract the coefficients of a feed-forward equalizer such that I can implement it as a FIR in C-Code.
Thanks.

Hello,
'Weights' is the tap weights vector (complex numbers), often noted as w, whereas 'WeightInputs' is the tap input vector, often noted as u. Such that the current output of the filter is
y=w'*u;
where ' denotes the hermitian transpose. You can see these notations used in table 2.1 in the preview of this textbook for instance.
