Can i input a senosoidal with vm =15volts ac in arduino using an analog input?

I don't know if it's sure to use a ac source in an analog input of the arduino,maybe i could damage the arduino.

I found that arduinos has a limit of voltage of 20 volts, but i don't know if that is for Ac or Dc.
