"Is R2015b available as trial version for Windows 7, 32-bit?"
I have only heard of one person who has managed to convince Mathworks to arrange a trial of R2015b in the last 18 months, and that was a case where they already had a R2015b license and were trialing a toolbox.
If the issue is that your computer only has 32 bit Windows, then the answer would probably be "Upgrade your computer".
Though if you are willing to buy a commercial license, and the reason you need 32 bit is for hard compatibility problems with third party equipment, then perhaps Mathworks would be willing to let you trial R2015b, with the understanding that you would be purchasing the current release (R2018a) and taking advantage of the fact that a commercial license authorizes you to use earlier releases as well (most academic licenses authorize that as well; I have not been able to get an answer about Student or Home licenses on this matter.)

In addition to Walter's points, but probably also overlapping: Mostly, there is a misunderstanding in the way that existing users do not need a trial, but can download an older version anytime free of extra costs. Many users do not know that, or the customer IT is reluctant to support this.
If you are not yet a user however, there is a certainly the point of why one needs an older release on a older architecture. I am aware of a couple of use cases related to 3rd party software and also to certain hardware support. But it is important to have a strategy what to do in a few years when there is no 32 bit hardware anymore.

You need to contact Mathworks Sales to arrange trials of older versions.
If you have an existing license for a version after that, then you can use the existing license to run R2015b.
However, if you are using a Student license you might have trouble accessing old versions. If you are using an Education license or corporate license, then the IT administration might need to retrieve the old version on your behalf.
