Shortcut prevent me to write square brackets

Hello everyone,
I've started recently the Machine Learning course by Andrew Ng on Coursera. I'm using MatLab Online to do the assignments. Unfortunately, I can't seem to be able to type a left square bracket "[" by using the usual command on my Mac - Azerty keyboard (Shift + alt + 5) as it opens each time the help window. However, I can type a right square bracket ]. I've tried to disable the shortcuts by typing the following command in the command window but that didn't help.
com.mathworks.desktop.mnemonics.MnemonicsManagers.get.disable
If you have any idea on what could be the problem, please let me know. Thanks!
Baptiste

@Baptiste Gross: why not just change the shortcut/s?

Yes sorry I forgot that detail : I went into the preferences to do that but what is shown on the screen does not like what I found online and I didn’t find any way of changing shortcuts. I will provide screenshots soon

I can't seem to be able to change the shortcuts. I've attached a screenshot to explain my point. Thanks!

I use a german keyboard layout. The keyboard shortcuts for left and right square brackets (Ctrl + Alt + 8/9) collide with the shortcuts for in-/decrease of indentation (Ctrl + ]/[). This results in being unable to type square brackets, which - to be frank - makes Matlab Online unusable to me.
This behavious occurs in the editor area only. I can type square brackets in the command window just fine.

I have a Swedish typing board and I have the same problem. It starts to be annoying as fu*k!
However the easiest solution is to just use the Esc-button to jump out and continue typing in the editor. Works for me.
