How to plot the frequency response of a fir filter when I only have the filter co-efficients?

Hi,

I'm working on a legacy code and came across the filter coefficients of a FIR filter. I have the impulse response of the filter in an array. I like to plot the frequency response to understand the filter's characteristics. Unfortunately the previous developer did not leave any documentation and I need to find this myself. I'm not familiar with Matlab and can anyone guide me with this?

Use the freqz (link) function to plot the Bode plot.

Since your FIR filter only has the ‘b’ coefficients, plot it as:
