External mode simulation is not supported for the 'Arduino Uno' hardware. However, you can deploy the model on this hardware. From the model window, click the "Deploy to Hardware" button. Can anyone help me for this problem ? and this next problem "Your current working folder is: C:\Program Files\MATLAB\MATLAB Production Server\R2015a\bin Simulink does not permit you to modify the MATLAB installation area. Please change to a working folder that is not in the MATLAB installation area and re-try the previous command." ?

@panda xl: For example:
cd(tempdir)
While I cannot know, what you have tried before the message occurred, I cannot suggest any other detail "step by step". I just read the error message and asked, if you have tried the included suggestion already. Again: did you try to change the current folder already?

Create a folder called "MATLAB programs" or "Simulink Programs" or similar under your root or My Documents folder, or on a separate drive that you have write access to. Then store all your programs in there. I'd advise you to make a new folder under that master folder for each of your projects.
You can change the current folder to that folder by clicking on the open folder with the green arrow coming out of it, just to the left of the address field in the MATLAB development environment (the main MATLAB program).

Is the confusion because Deploy to Hardware button is called Build model in yours? This could be because your model is not yet configured to work on a hardware. Which version of MATLAB are you using? So that I can point to some appropriate resources that shows how to configure your model to work on a hardware.

This video uses R2015a https://www.mathworks.com/videos/using-simulink-to-program-a-boe-bot-100740.html
Remember to download the MATLAB and Simulink support package for Arduino and then use this video to understand how you can deploy code to hardware.
