Unable to resize an item in Simulink

Hello,

I can't resize a block in Simulink. If a move the mouse to the top left corner of a block, I see the following:

After pressing the left mouse button (while still on the same position with the mouse cursor) I get:

When I now try to drag the corner of the block to resize it, it doesn't resize but moves the complete block instead!? I've already tried to use the right mouse button, or in combination with 'shift' and/or 'ctrl' - but nothing allows me to resize the block itself...

I'm using Simulink Version 9.2 (R2018b), May 24, 2018 on a Linux PC.

I have the exact same problem is Simulink Version 2019b on a CentOS 7.6 machine. Does any know a fix?

Hi,

back than I also had some direct communication with the Matlab support (emails) - the conclusion was: They couldn't reproduce the behavior...

My 'workaround' back than was to try every version - starting from 2018b - and down at 2016b I've found a version where Simulink works. Up to now, I still use this version - or you could also say - I'm stuck at it. But I also didn't look any more into this, since 'Never change a running system' :-)
