Can anyone explain the following code ?

I would make 3D surafce from given 2D coordinates. the following link dealt with same problem. However i could not understand the parameters used in the code. Could anyone explain this?

Thanks for the reply. I have 2D dimensional data (X and Y coordinates) which makes nearly circle shape. i want make spherical shape by revolving these xy points in Matlab. How to do that ?

It depends on how the data are stored and around which axis you want to rotate. So please post more details.
