I'm looking for a MATLAB tutorial (or explanatory video) that I recall viewing under the MATLAB support tab that involved some made up example of Lagrangian particle tracking in an estuary or around an island chain that, in the example, involved creating sinusoidal horizontal 'tidal' currents which caused the dispersion of these particles - I seem to remember it being the potential location of a lost swimmer by to be used by rescue services (although I really can't remember rightly). The tutorial/video was a walk through of how you would code it. Although physically unrealistic, it was a great example showing how dispersive modelling was construed. I have searched the MATLAB support on the website but I think this tutorial has been taken down/changed - maybe because it was quite specifically relating to oceanography and probably did not appeal to a wide enough base of users. Anyway, I'm looking for this tutorial/video as I would like to investigate a 2D horizontal shelf sea dispersive model, initally as a proof of my own concept and later I will bring in some more realistic physics. Any help 'tracking' down this tutorial/video would be really appreciated. Many thanks!!
