Why are my simulink initial conditions sometimes not met, despite high priority?

I set the initial temperature of a Simscape thermal mass to 303K and put a temperature sensor on it. Solver is set to start with steady state. Still, the temperature of this mass is 293 at t=0s and there are no warnings or errors reported in the diagnostics viewer. Large screenshot is attached.![tf.PNG](https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/uploaded_files/231166/tf.png)

Hi,
I tried to reproduce the mentioned initial conditions on a simple model and it is working as expected. Please provide the model, so that a workaround may be provided.

When selecting Start simulation from steady state, the solver tries to find what the model would go to after a very long simulation. It does not use the initial targets in set in the blocks.
