Sharing with somebody who hasnt Matlab

How can I share some of my work with people who dont have Matlab apart from publishing it..mean I have heard that though people dont have Matlab, it should be possible for them to run a program but dont remember how

Is it complicated? Maybe you can write it in VBA Excel macro?

In such a case it would probably be a better idea to try Octave before jumping to VBA.

Is it free? Should I just write to the person that he or she can download matlab compiler to run my program?

It is not free. You will need a license to compile your program to a standalone application.

Not free, IMO the compiler is quite expansive.

You might get a trial version and see if it meets your need. Contact sale department for that.

But I can awswer to you:

Standalone meaning app that can run without MATLAB.

So after downloading the compiler , what should I do so the other person can run the program on his computer that doesnt have Matlab..?
